The preference for bricks and mortar is striking given the challenges in the retail sector in Canada but even at 26%, this is a staggering amount of the economy that has shifted to virtual stores. As the Angus Reid Institute report shows, groceries (5% prefer online) are the area with the least interest in online shopping.
